Toronto Zoo Photo Tour
The Toronto Zoo is not a normal zoo. It is a recognised centre of excellence for animal care. The Toronto Zoo carries out conservation, research and works with many universities and other zoological institutions to improve animal welfare.
The Toronto Zoo has over 3,000 animals representing over 300 species and 10km of walking trails. It is divided into seven geographical regions.
Toronto’s zoo also works with species recovery programs and it’s wildlife conservancy works to secure financial resources to help the zoo preserve endangered species, breeding and reintroducing endangered animals into the wild.
We will spend the morning at the zoo. Lunch (not included) will be down by the waterfront which brings more opportunities for street, waterscape/cityscape photography. This will line us up to take the Toronto Ferry over to the Islands’, where we will explore the islands’ a little before capturing the skyline against the setting sun. Once sun has set, approximately, we will take the ferry back to the coach and head back to New York.
The physical level needed is low.

We will spend the morning at Toronto’s zoo. Wander through any of the seven zoogeographical regions and capture the many personalities that you will find.
As photographers, we have lots os space to capture the image we are looking for. This is also a tripod friendly space.
Whether you walk all the way or choose to take the zoomobile (if it is running and it does cost extra), there is lots to see within many different habitats and not just animals.
After the zoo, we will go over the Toronto Islands’ for sunset..
Spend the afternoon exploring the Toronto Islands’
