No matter what genre of photography, this class will have something for you that will enable you to add those additional finishing touches.

The Power of Personal Projects

In this class, Glyn Dewis will talk about the importance of personal projects and how they are the key to developing as a photographer. Using examples from his current 39-45 Portraits Project where he is touring the UK photographing surviving World War 2 Veterans (an entirely self-funded project that has gained National News Coverage but with the sole intention of providing Veterans and their families with classic, timeless portraits), Glyn will discuss the value of ‘keeping it simple’, his chosen lighting set up, how to relax people in front of the camera, shooting in limited space and with minimal kit and of course some veterans stories.
